Glenburn Darjeeling Silver Needle White Tea Tin

This rare White Tea is made at Glenburn midsummer over just a couple of days each year, when the silvery green buds are about to unfold. Silver Needle is a world-famous Chinese white tea that is highly prized because it is made from only the whole young buds, requiring expert picking and delicate processing. Our highly experienced team have created Glenburn's very own Silver Needle to rival the Chinese original and offer a unique and rare Darjeeling white tea. The silvery velvety appearance comes from fine white pubescence on the underside of each leaf bud. The careful preservation of this texture by our most experienced tea pickers, follows through to the subtle flavour of the cup. The liquor is very light with delicate undertones and a crisp finish. Rich in anti-oxidants with very little caffeine, this tea is excellent drunk at any time of the day. 50g loose tea in an elegant Glenburn Gift Tin.
