The Second Flush in Darjeeling produces mature, more rounded flavours than the First Flush. Plucked in the early summer months of May and June, this stylishly rolled leaf is made from select shoots that draw their succulence from the late spring showers. Glenburn Second Flush Darjeeling has a special character, owing to the clonal plants selected to thrive in our unique Glenburn growing conditions.

Tasting Notes
Smooth and rounded on the palate, with flavours of dried fruit and the sought-after muscatel taste characteristic of Second Flush Darjeeling tea. Dry Leaf Appearance: Dark blackish brown with the characteristic coppery leaves and pale yellowish tips. Wet Leaf Aroma: Sweet honey and muscatel. Liquor: Deep, rich amber.

2.5g tea 200ml (7 fl-oz) water 90 - 100°C 3-4 minutes
